Three nights of lights

Greetings y'all : So first we saw fire flies dancing , then a fierce lightening storm and finally last night we watched fire works from our back yard and window . We don't look for the lights but keep our eyes open for them. By that I mean we are trying to see the lights that enter our lives and follow them. We consider the lights to be angels guiding our way in this labyrinth labeled life. Have you ever gone to a bookshelf , unsure what your looking for only find a book that seemed to call out to you ? Then as read that book you find it has the right message at the right time. That , my friend , is letting the angels guide you with your light. Now the challenge I offer you is to find the light in everyone you pass by today. Notice someone's smile, their gestalt, their shoes , whatever you can find positive. Tune into to world around you. Ok folks today is Mowgli's last full day before he starts camp. He is quite anxious which means he acts up. Sure some folks say I ought ground him and punish him. I prefer to acknowledge his feelings , let him know they are valid , use reflective listening and help him to find a solution . His solution that he comes up with and can use. I can always hold him in my heart but won't always be there to hold his hand. I love my child and I like my child. He humbles me. Like this morning when he got us on our knees and he led us in prayer for all of Gods creatures. Time to back the bag. Man Cub has decided we wants to explore a nearby river we've yet to traverse.
